A History of Energy Management
Formed in 1980, MPC implements energy management programs for large industrial companies. MPC evaluates the required usage levels of each product line and implements the management tools necessary to control the cost variations in energy. MPC developed (KVI’s) Key Volume Indicator models that can track results of the savings programs to within 1% per year. These mathematical models, based on statistical and empirical data analysis, can be used for all types of manufacturing processes. MPC’s clients are saving over $300,000,000 per year in energy and over 1,800,000 tons of GHG emissions annually.
MPC has developed the only comprehensive web-based EnMS for major manufacturing, "MPC-AURA". This cloud-based energy management system is the energy module for "Smart Manufacturing."
