MPC Announces the start of an energy management project for FMC Corporation at its Green River, Wyoming plant.

Michael Pappas, MPC Vice President, credits the management team in Green River for taking a hard, detailed look at this initiative and pushing forward. Green River has been involved with their own internal "operational excellence" improvement efforts and are now trying to move to the next level with this concentrated, professional look at a major cost driver for their business.

The plant has prepared for MPC and the atmosphere surrounding this project is positive and truly collaborative. Both FMC and MPC anticipate good results with a completion date in mid-Summer 2010.
