The first step in every project is to obtain a detailed, comprehensive understanding of your systems and procedures. Once a complete review has been completed, we work with your staff to identify areas where savings may be achieved through procedural or maintenance-related changes. After agreeing what changes are to be made, we designate people responsible for insuring the changes are completed. A system will be used to track improvement and quantify the effects of procedural and maintenance changes. As the project progresses, and the performance measurements are completed, we will work with you to determine the optimum levels of energy use per unit of production. The feedback from this system allows us to pinpoint any sources of waste and solve the related problems. The final step in the process is to appoint an energy coordinator. This member of your staff is trained in the goals and procedures of the system, so that your savings can continue long after MPC is gone.
